.
It is time to speak up for truth and actively seek radical redemption and justice in the sexual exploitation industry. The buyers are not feeling the shame they should feel. The sellers are not feeling the guilt they should feel.
.
Neither the buyers or sellers are feeling the pressure of consequence. And the victims are not feeling the hope that they deserve.
.
The marketplace is hidden in plain sight. We can no longer deny these atrocities are happening right here, we as a community must stand against it. We believe step 1 in making change is for us to work together as a community and a nation.
.
We must have a coordinated effort across all agencies, departments, coalitions, and non-profits. We need to have a unified message to the perpetrators that this won’t be tolerated in our cities and a unified message to the victims that we are HERE, we WILL help, and we WILL keep them safe. Without that we won’t make a difference.
To kickstart this, we are starting with the 5 counties and 42 cities from St Joseph to Harrisonville on the Missouri side.
.
If we can bring the Health Departments, Police Departments, Sheriff’s office, Fire Departments, all social services resources, non-profits, hospitals, drug treatment facilities, mental health providers and churches in those 5 counties and 42 cities together, then as a group we can change the path of this problem forever.
