Q: What type of work did you do before joining the RPOR team?
A: I am a mutual fund wholesaler for an investment firm.
Q: Explain what your role is here at RPOR and what a typical day looks like on the job:
A: I help oversee the finances of the organization, volunteer in our Drop-In Center on a regular basis, help manage/cultivate donor relationships, and help get our clients connected to the social services that they need.
Q: What about our mission resonates with you and why?
A: The part of our mission that resonates the most with me is identifying women that are being sexually exploited and being able to provide both resources and hope for a better future.
Q: What do you hope to accomplish (or learn) during your time here at RPOR?
A: I am learning on a daily basis about the different resources that are available for women and children that are being sexually exploited and also how to get them out of their current circumstances when we are asked to do so. I also want to help RPOR be able to open the first 90-day, 24-hour emergency crisis shelter for survivors of sex trafficking in the state of Missouri.
Q: What goals do you have for your role at RPOR?
A: To be part of the solution of helping to end the exploitation of women and children in Kansas City.
Q: What are you looking forward to the most while working here?
A: Seeing people’s lives be restored after working with RPOR.
Q: What do you like to do outside of work?
A: Travel all over the world. Some of my favorite places to go are Israel, Cuba, and Belize.
Q: Why do you love working at RPOR?
A: I love working at RPOR because I feel like we are taking the time to help and serve a portion of the population that is often overlooked and unwanted.

Posted at 05:55h, 11 NovemberI absolutely love ms Jennifer Jared and Lee for being the first ones I’ve met that that showed me what real love is and for letting me be apart of helping the women who was once me. Ms Jennifer is my number one reason the fire was back inside of me and threw the last few yrs I’ve made it thru everything you are some of us angels and I thank God for her daily thank u to restless pursuit for showing the world what nobody use to see women being trafficking are human beings and for giving them a safe place to trust me just breathe bc there is truly evil out there and it’s u who doesn’t truly see even being a survor all that is thrown at me you save me daily by truly being the one who loves me and my babies. Thank you ms Jennifer for everything you really mean so much to me.
