Your Compassion Makes a Difference! |
You’re helping create a brighter future for the countless women that RPOR serves! Since opening, we have had over 1,100 women walk through our doors over 18,352 times. We have built trusting relationships with many of these women giving them hope for a future they can’t even imagine. We love them right where they are, unconditionally. |

Tax Credits on Labor & Materials: The Mike Daniels Center |
|
|
Tax credits don’t strictly have to be in exchange for monetary donations. They can also be given in exchange for labor and materials. Roofers, plumbers, electricians, etc. can provide the labor and material for The Mike Daniels Center in exchange for a tax credit. If you own a business from another state, but do business in MIssouri resulting in a Missouri tax bill, you qualify for a Missouri tax credit!

Meet Jessica : Her Fight for Freedom |
|
|
Jessica shared, “I turned my first trick at the age of 14. I’ll NEVER forget it. I distinctly remember my pimp dressing me up in a velvet dress with a big bow in the back, white stockings, black Mary Jane dress shoes and my hair in two pigtails. I knew I was supposed to represent a 10-year-old. My ‘friend’ was a doctor and handed me six crisp $100 bills. My only thought was, NOW I FOUND MY INDEPENDENCE. For me, human trafficking and prostitution for survival is literally ALL I KNOW\! It’s like a mechanic who works on cars for 25 years. It’s what he’s good at. Prostitution has been my source of income and survival for 18 years.”
Jessica was ready to leave that life behind, but unfortunately, our Mike Daniels Center wasn’t ready. So, we decided to PIVOT! We immediately connected Jessica with eTMS and a counselor, and we referred her to a temporary employment agency. Jessica had already secured a housing voucher but was struggling to find appropriate placement.
That’s where RPOR stepped in. We provided assistance with rent, transportation, and groceries, (roughly $7,000 in funds we hadn’t budgeted for), and offered emotional support throughout her journey.
Today, we are *incredibly* excited to announce that Jessica is employed and has her own apartment! RPOR is honored to be a part of Jessica’s story, and we invite you to prayerfully consider supporting her journey.

“There’s only one place in KC for me and women like me. Beautiful queens with tarnished and distrustful views of people. A place where we can be exactly who we are. We don’t need to feel shame or guilt. No armor suits are required. That place is RPOR. The staff, the camaraderie, the love, the hugs, and laughter bring me LIFE when I feel like I am dying! RPOR feeds my soul when it’s hungry. RPOR provides a staircase to elevate my spirits. RPOR is HOME to me. My heart beats with pure, untainted love for the program. I honestly don’t know what I would do if RPOR failed to exist.”
