Krista Bodinson, Board Member

Krista was one of the first RPOR staff and board members. She has been working with RPOR since the beginning, back in 2019.

Q: What type of work did you do before joining the RPOR team?

A: I’ve worked with at-risk youth for 30 years and counting!

Q: Explain what your role is here at RPOR and what a typical day looks like on the job:

A: Other than helping whenever I can, whether it be obtaining needed donations, connecting with girls on the street, finding needed resources…or dealing with Lee, which is exhausting!

Q: What about our mission resonates with you and why?

A: Our mission resonates with me because we are helping humankind and our community on so many levels!

Q: What do you hope to accomplish (or learn) during your time here at RPOR?

A: Offering these girls a little peace, comfort, trust, and happiness so they may decide to accept help.

Q: What goals do you have for your role at RPOR?

A: Survive working alongside Lee! He doesn’t require much sleep!

Q: What are you looking forward to the most while working here?

A: The dolla’ bills! Seriously though, seeing hope in someone’s eyes. That’s really what I look forward to the most!

Q: What do you like to do outside of work?

A: Spend time with my boys, travel, read, listen to live music, shop, and try new restaurants.

A: I love working at RPOR because no two days are ever the same. I love seeing how resilient the human spirit is.
